EstateMeet Help Center

Guides for estate agents and sellers: what EstateMeet is, how to get started, run sales, and receive payouts.

What is EstateMeet?

EstateMeet is an online marketplace for estate sales. Estate agents publish sales, photograph and price items, and buyers browse and purchase online with pickup or shipping.

During the beta trial, approved estate agents can create up to five estate sales. Individual sellers can also list single items from their account.

Getting started as an estate agent

Register at Agent sign-in → Register as estate agent. You will verify your email, set a password, and accept the agent terms.

Registration creates two things: your login (email + password) and your company profile (agency name, contact phone, and related details). Both are required before the agent portal opens.

  • Use a stable business email—you will verify it during registration.
  • Company name is stored as your agency name on your agent profile.
  • After registration, sign in and go to Dashboard or New Sale.

Creating estate sales & listing items

From the agent portal, open New Sale to create an estate sale: location, dates, pickup or shipping options, and company details buyers will see.

Add items with photos (up to two per item). The first photo can be analyzed for title, category, and pricing suggestions. You set the final price buyers pay.

Publish the sale when you are ready for buyers to view and purchase. Manage orders from your dashboard.

  • Trial accounts: up to five estate sales until admin removes the cap.
  • Estate agent sales are final—all sales final disclosure is shown to buyers before payment.
  • Map pins show estate sale locations only (not individual end-user listings).

Getting paid (payouts & commission)

When a buyer pays, funds flow through Stripe. EstateMeet uses Stripe Connect so proceeds can be sent to your bank account automatically.

Commission is always 5% of the item price, paid by the seller (you)—never charged to the buyer. Shipping is passed through at carrier cost; EstateMeet does not take a cut of shipping.

  • Step 1: Agent Portal → Payouts → Set up payouts.
  • Step 2: Complete Stripe’s secure form (bank account + identity verification).
  • Step 3: When Stripe approves your account, this page shows payouts active.
  • Until payouts are active, you can still list and sell; bank transfers begin once Stripe onboarding is complete.

For buyers

Buyers sign in with Google, browse estate sales and items, and checkout with Stripe. Pickup and shipping options depend on each sale or listing.

End-user listings have a 14-day dispute window from payment. Estate agent sales are final.
